AI Disclaimer
OurAvera uses AI to support drafting, organization, and clinical preparation. This page explains what that means — and what it does not mean.
AI outputs are draft support only
All AI-generated content in OurAvera — including intake summaries, session note drafts, and context snapshots — is a starting point, not a finished product. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a specific clinical situation.
Every AI output should be treated as a draft requiring clinician review and editing before any use.
Clinician review is always required
Qualified clinicians must review, edit, and approve all AI-supported content before it is used in documentation, shared, or acted upon clinically. No AI output should be used without direct clinician oversight.
No autonomous clinical decisions
OurAvera does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, assess risk, or make autonomous clinical decisions. The platform does not replace:
- Clinical judgment and professional expertise
- Diagnosis or treatment planning
- Risk and safety assessment
- Documentation responsibility
- Appropriate supervision and oversight structures
Accuracy is not guaranteed
AI models can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect or outdated information. Always verify clinical information against authoritative sources, current guidelines, and your own professional knowledge.
This disclaimer is a draft and should be reviewed before production use.
